These two-year-old siblings were beloved members of the Ubin community. Despite their best efforts to save him, Kopi-O’s injuries proved fatal, and he crossed the rainbow bridge to the hereafter. Kopi-O had served as one of the island’s guide dogs, endearing himself to many.
The Ubin community was deeply saddened by Kopi-O’s untimely departure, and they decided to honor his memory with a proper burial next to his owners, Nini and Tua Tao. They couldn’t bear the thought of his body being discarded without care. Kopi-O now rests in a field adorned with flowers and marked by a gravestone.
